The thorp Ztibechna (Ztibečná) or Stbetzna (Stbecna) represented an important orientation center still in the time of famous chronicler named Kosma; it was the nearest well-known town on the road from today´s Krakovetz (Krakovec - built as late as the year 1381 - 83), maybe originally a fabulous seat of Krok (judge Krok or Krak - the name of Celtic origin, the seat Krokov was lying on the border between most densely inhabited Celtic settlement and newly forming Czech state so it might have been the remnant of Boie-Celtic fame.) In Zbechno the court of Premysl kin used to be seated there.
The stone lies within very interesting location in terms of history as well as its landscape. Where the woods begin south of Písky homestead (estate) with the route steeply declining towards Zbechno, at the spot of still today clearly visible old cart way, very close to a tiny pond, the stone had been erected. It has been said this happened quite recently to the credit of local firemen who erected the stone in honour of their departed colleague. Inside the stone there is a reminder of metal nail used to fasten the table. Even though it is for sure a modern menhir, we dare to mention it here. This almost one meter high cobble (flinty shale, slate) is really beautiful, it would be quite interesting to convince a sensibility man to pay a visit over here and find out if the stone is capable to rectify energy all around.
